Aliso Viejo, CA, June 10, 2020. Octane is pleased to announce that the 2020 Ophthalmology Technology Summit will be 100% virtual.  This decision was made in part by industry partners, physicians, planning committee and medical advisors.  The event will now span two and a half days: August 6th to August 8th.

While virtual, the platform we will use for Ophthalmology Technology Summit will provide many opportunities for collaboration.  There will be rooms and meetings set up to allow for networking, meeting and introductions. It will also allow individuals to participate that would have not made the trip to California. The conference will be using a production company and studio to deliver the highest quality experience and focus on the matters most important today.  In the future, the plan is to have in person attendees in 2021, while also including a virtual option for additional reach.

Below we have introduced three new opportunities to elevate the virtual experience at the 2020 Ophthalmology Technology Summit.

  • On-Demand Access- Attendees will have full access to our leading content through our livestream or at their convenience through a content library, at a time of your choosing. We have industry leaders speaking throughout our conference and an exciting agenda that you can take part in from your home.
  • Connect & Network- We are expanding the capability of our event app to allow you to connect and network with other attendees before, during and after the conference through our app. You can set up meetings, connect, visit booths and join in on small meetings to name a few opportunities.
  • Live Q&A- Our event platform will allow attendees to ask questions and get answers during each panel, allowing our attendees to feel even more engaged during the panel sessions.

We will continue to add more opportunities and create more value for attendees attending Ophthalmology Technology Summit. If you have any questions, please reach out to Cara Parchment, Event Manager for OTS at cara@octaneoc.org
