LaunchPad is a premier Small Business Development Center (SBDC) in the nation and 82% of companies that complete the program raise capital. Since 2010, companies that have gone through LaunchPad have raised over $3.35B, through institutional, strategic, and private investors. LaunchPad works with a variety of industries in tech innovation. For the purpose of this article, I am going to talk about the areas in climate tech we focus on, specifically electrification. Electrification is one of the focal points (that also includes AgTech and Mobility) of [Elevation Venture](https://elevationvc.com/)s, a fund that brings together Octane’s structure and process with industry experts from Sustain SoCal (sustainsocal.org) to invest in companies that will generate profits and deliver sustainable solutions or mitigate gigatons of C02. Companies that graduate LaunchPad and are focused on electrification have the opportunity to meet with investors from Elevation Ventures. LaunchPad is looking for companies to apply for its program that are creating solutions in the electrification space.  This includes emerging companies focused on energy management (prosumer IoT, AI), Energy as a Service (EaaS), smart grid, Tidal/ wave/ current generation, and transition enablers.
