ALISO VIEJO, California, February 6, 2020- Octane, Southern California’s leading accelerator, announced today the reimagined Tech Innovation Forum on May 11-12 in Irvine, California.  This year’s Tech Innovation Forum will be presenting a new and more interactive experience, centered around startups, investment, learning and networking. To further this new experience, the event will be held at a new and exciting location, AV Irvine.  The forum will feature 48 companies presenting to investors, including the 8 LaunchPad Finalists throughout a two-day event. This is a significant increase of 40 additional presenting companies intended to attract the largest investor attendance yet.

This year’s Tech Innovation Forum will feature keynote speakers including Dean Stoecker, CEO of Alteryx and Stuart McClure, Entrepreneur and Founder of Cylance.  Both created and have built successful companies in Orange County.  Additionally, there will be sessions to focus on how successful companies have been built in Orange County, the multiple sources of capital and why Southern California is the place to build your business.  A common theme of the forum will be building speed to capital and speed to revenue.

“We are looking forward to a new format for this year’s Tech Innovation Forum” said Rita Battocchio, Head of Events at Octane. “Historically, we have only featured eight LaunchPad Presenting companies, and have added an additional 40 to our new Fast Pitch format so that we can put a spotlight on the technology innovation occurring in Southern California”, she said.

New this year includes Breakfast with Experts on both days, an exclusive breakfast to network and learn from leaders in the innovation community.  The breakfast will feature some of our key Tech Innovation Forum speakers, C-Level executives, entrepreneurs, LaunchPad Alumni and experts in their field.

Attendees can expect to see the innovation occurring in Southern California, specifically in FinTech, Data, Analytics, Cybersecurity, IoT, SaaS and other technology.  In addition to startups in attendance, the forum expects to welcome over 150 investors in addition to leaders and innovators in the technology field.
