Maggie Carranza, Signature Event Manger for Octane's High Tech Awards gives us sneak peak of the innovation and awards this year and why they will look a little different. Join Octane on September 17th for an interactive and exciting lunch honoring the innovative companies that make Orange County so great.

Hi, I'm Maggie Carranza, Signature Event Manager for the High Tech Awards here at Octane. This year, the High Tech Awards is going to look a little different, but the goal is still the same: to celebrate innovation in Southern California.

As you all know, the pandemic has affected all of the aspects of our lives from going outside the economy, social norms and gathering. Especially under the circumstances we want to celebrate the resiliency of the companies in Southern California. We will give people the opportunity to tune in virtually so you can celebrate the resiliency of Southern California as a community.

Our committee has been working very hard to ensure that all nominations go through a seamless screening and interview stage. This year, we have 10 categories, including a COVID-19 Resilience Recognition Award. We want to think and honor, all of our essential workers that have stepped up during the pandemic.

We're all excited for the nominations that came in and are working hard to showcase the innovation for this year's High Tech Awards. We can't wait to see you all this year at the High Tech Awards on September 17th. See you then.
